Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to all work performed by Eco Home and Tree Care, LLC. Booking work, paying a deposit, or allowing our crew onto the property constitutes acceptance.

1. Scope of services
We provide tree services (trimming, pruning, removal, deadwood and hazard work, stump grinding), landscape services (bush and shrub care, mulch, tilling, weed control, dethatching, seasonal cleanups), lawn services (mowing, fertilizer), interior and exterior painting and pressure washing, snow removal, and debris hauling. Work performed is limited to what appears on the written quote. Anything discovered on site that is not on the quote — a second dead tree, a buried stump, rot found once a limb is opened — is quoted separately before we proceed.
2. Payment terms and late fees
Deposits are due to reserve a date and are credited toward the final invoice. The balance is due on completion unless a written payment plan is in place. Invoices unpaid past their due date may accrue a late fee, and accounts significantly past due may be referred for collection, with reasonable collection costs added to the balance. Returned payments are subject to a fee. Payment plan installments missed without notice may end the plan and make the remaining balance due.
3. Site safety, access, and liability
You agree to keep people, pets, and vehicles out of the work zone we mark, and to disclose known hazards — septic fields, irrigation, invisible fence, buried utilities, weak driveways, structures under the canopy. Some property impact is unavoidable in tree work: minor turf marks from equipment, small ruts in soft ground, and damage to plantings directly beneath a removal. We take reasonable care to minimize it and will repair what is reasonable, but we are not responsible for ordinary, unavoidable impact of this kind, for pre-existing conditions, or for damage caused by hazards that were not disclosed.
4. Dispute resolution and arbitration
If a dispute arises, you agree to contact us first and give us a fair chance to make it right; most issues end there. Disputes not resolved that way are to be settled by binding arbitration on an individual basis under applicable Indiana law, rather than by lawsuit or class action, except that either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court.
5. Equipment, methods, and pricing
Prices reflect the equipment, insurance, certification, and crew size a job actually requires. A removal that must be rigged down piece by piece over a structure costs more than the same tree in an open field, because it takes longer and carries more risk. We are happy to explain any line on a quote. Quotes are valid for 30 days and assume normal access for our trucks and chipper; restricted access may change the price, and we will tell you before the work starts.
6. Scheduling and weather delays
Tree and landscape work is weather-dependent. Lightning, high wind, saturated ground, ice, and extreme heat will move a job, and storm emergencies take priority over routine work. We will notify you as early as we can and reschedule to the next available date. Neither party owes the other anything for a weather delay, and your place in line is preserved.
7. Permits, ordinances, and property lines
You are responsible for confirming that you own or control the trees and property in question, for HOA approval, and for any easement or right-of-way restrictions. Where a municipal permit is required, we will tell you and can assist with the paperwork; permit fees are your cost. We will not remove or heavily prune a tree that appears to sit on a neighbor’s property or in a public right-of-way without written authorization.
8. Cancellation and rescheduling
Cancel or reschedule with reasonable advance notice at no charge. Cancellations inside the notice window, or a crew arriving to find the site inaccessible or the work called off, may incur a trip or cancellation fee reflecting the crew time and route already committed. Deposits on cancelled work are refundable minus any such fee.
9. Customer appreciation, referrals, and events
Discounts, referral rewards, and customer appreciation events are offered at our discretion, may change or end at any time, cannot be combined unless we say so, and carry no cash value. Photos taken on a job may be used in our marketing without identifying your address; tell us if you would rather we did not.
10. Flexibility and changes to these terms
We are a small company and we would rather solve a problem than stand on a clause. If some part of these terms produces an unfair result in your specific situation, talk to us — we can and do make exceptions in writing. We may update these terms; the version posted here at the time your work is booked is the one that governs it. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
