This position will start as an OJT with a straight commission (for revenue generation). The initial starting position’s goals are numerous. These are to help develop sales procedures and involvements. Its a quick start spot to get you an earned income and into training, while you are also completing or submitting all work documents. The goal is transition you into a core service technician position as soon as possible, unless you like sales and you are crushing it. There will be ample time for full introductions to various sites, people, and aspects of the services, so each person has a more complete ability to discuss services with customers. During this initial job onboarding and training phase, you will have various opportunities to accompany the Lead involved with sales development, scheduling, and planning in order for the individuals to understand all the aspects of reaching new customers and pricing work requested and creating the necessary start to finish project documents and customer follow up notes. You will have training on several company software(s), and have a domain based email with full access to a host of office and customer related tools as well as for cloud based access anywhere to personal and HR software and company documents. In addition to submitting a resume or brief (cover letter is helpful- with your basic introduction and intentions included), you will need to use the quick contact form here, so we can reach out and assist and schedule potential interviewing, and intro, and send you some necessary start up tools that you will become more familiar with to support all career path efforts going forward. You will also need to fill out an I9 to declare your work authorization status, so if you are not authorized – we will get your documentation process started, and figure out how you can work to live without hiding or doing nefarious things. You will also fill out a W4 for filing purposes, and everyone fills out the full application the best you can and paperwork for insurance, workman’s comp, and to be submitted for bonding. This gives a standardized background check much more thorough than any of us have time to follow through with or specialize in such things. The bonded thing is so you also know all the guys and gals next to you have passed a minimum level of scrutiny to be on your team. Its for you as much as its for us and it makes our customers happier. The company is also bonded and insured, but that covers a different aspect of assurance and work performance than the personal bonds. Personal bonds assist in ensuring financial coverage should specific types of losses occur where you might be held accountable, which covers the expenses of damages or losses to property. I can’t do everything at once. I am working on a way to get the employee forms accessible, but you would be better served if you call in show a little fight to get yourself the tools you need to be fully onboarded and in training and working. (I would love to have an HR specialist, which I am not, so buckle up butter cup! If you are willing to become great – call after submitting, to kick off discussions. There is much to discuss. If you are in the process of finishing your application documents, we can start you in a commission sales position, most people will get to follow this path no matter what so as this will allow you the opportunity to be immediately productive, and immediately earning, and afford some extra time for further specific career path tuning, us getting to know you, and your introductions to the current processes, procedures, safety training, ordering any special gear you need, assignments, work schedules, team members, shops and equipment training, and equipment usage, for aspects of work. All positions will start out with training and OJT, to gain work exposure and familiarity, filling a wide variety of roles as an independent and individualized "contractor", removed from that of the company employee groups under any one or more internal umbrella, and I acknowledge that I am neither a salary or hourly employee of the company such that I offer my services to said company as an independent contractor, setting my own hours, and tracking my own business expenses and income(s) for taxation purposes. I will report 1099 information directly to the company for all taxation compliance and accounting preparedness, and to increase the awareness and accuracy and consistency of my earned commissions, including a running total of working hours, available work status, planned time off, and maintain core hours generally expected to be reachable by phone while in-office or on work sites, where my continued work for hire may line up with the goals of the company and at any time may be evaluated. If found unfavorable or unsupportable or outside the boundaries of compliance, we may sever all ties (in all regards), with regards to employer AND contractor or subcontractor or independant contractor, . This is clearly an end to any future pay earnings or any benefits whatsoever, that have not been previously authorized, and none such shall follow except where other agreements have been enacted and whereby it is allowed by law. Signature asserting that I am fully aware of these specific differences and allowances, and that I shall give due diligence to maintaining legal compliance for accounting and taxation, and to maintain the status in all regards to hold the company harmless in first and second hand, first and second and third party interactions and scenarios. If I become aware of any changes to the accepted accounting or taxation procedures or processes, I shall promptly bring these to the attention of those involved in the accounting and taxation maintenances to make further research and adjustments where possible and discuss changes or impacts to the overall working governance and protections of all stakeholders.
